This policy describes what data Automata collects through automata.com.vn, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. We collect as little as possible.

1. Who we are

Automata is a software studio based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. For questions about this policy or your data, contact us at hello@automata.com.vn.

2. What we collect

Contact form submissions. When you contact us, we receive the details you provide: name, email address, company, project details, and any other information you include in your message.

Email correspondence. Messages you send us directly are kept in our email systems.

Basic usage data. This site does not use analytics and sets no tracking cookies.

3. How we use your data

We use contact data solely to respond to your enquiry, assess whether a project is a fit, and — if we work together — to manage the business relationship. We do not use your data for marketing lists, and we do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.

4. Legal basis

We process enquiry data on the basis of your request (to respond to you) and our legitimate interest in running our business. Where a contract is formed, processing is necessary for the performance of that contract.

5. Sharing and processors

We share data only with services required to operate this site and our business — for example our hosting provider, email provider, and form-processing service — each bound by its own data-protection terms. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

6. Retention

Enquiry data is kept as long as needed to manage the relationship, then deleted on request. If you ask us to delete your data, we do so promptly, except where we must retain records for legal or accounting reasons.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to or restrict its processing, by emailing hello@automata.com.vn. We respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies

This site sets only cookies strictly necessary for functionality (such as form submission). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the limited data we hold, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS) and access restricted to the studio’s principals.

10. Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and the date above. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
